our story
Built from a simple mission
Komandor Scotland began with a simple mission: to create bespoke storage that really works, not just looks good on paper. Founded in the mid 2010s by Daniel Grycz and Aga Przychodzka, the company grew from a shared frustration.
Too many homes across Scotland had awkward nooks and sloped ceilings, and not enough solutions that truly fit. Off the shelf wardrobes were not cutting it, so we set out to change that.

What started with a single showroom in Aberdeen has steadily expanded, with new roots in Edinburgh and design services reaching as far as Inverness. Today we are proud to serve homeowners across the country, bringing a personal touch and millimetre perfect design to spaces that others often overlook.
We are part of the wider Komandor global brand, which has been innovating in storage design since the early 1990s. That backing gives us serious manufacturing strength, while our local focus and friendly service have earned a loyal following here in Scotland.

Daniel Grycz
Director and designer
Daniel leads the creative side of Komandor Scotland. He’s been designing fitted furniture for over a decade and has a sharp eye for solving space puzzles - especially in older properties where nothing is square. Clients appreciate his practical mindset paired with a real passion for smart, elegant design.

Aga Przychodzka
Director and Project Coordinator
Aga keeps things running smoothly. From initial plans to final installs, she makes sure every job stays on track and every client feels looked after. Her background in project management shows in her attention to detail - and her calm, problem-solving approach. She’s also known for making even the most complex projects feel easy and stress-free. She says the best part is watching designs move from sketch to reality - and the smiles at the end.
Paul Stancel
Designer
Paul brings a creative edge to the team, with a strong background in 3D design, filmmaking, and typography. His eye for composition and form comes through in every project he works on - from the way a wardrobe fits into a room to the finer details of layout and proportion. Paul is especially skilled at creating high-quality 3D visuals that help clients fully picture their space before any materials are cut. He loves the process of translating someone’s ideas into a design that not only works but feels considered and unique.
Mark McMillan
Designer
Mark brings a practical, no-fuss style to the design process. He’s especially good at spotting space-saving tweaks and suggesting layouts that just make sense. Whether it’s a compact wardrobe or a whole room redesign, Mark’s focus is always on function - without sacrificing style. Clients like working with him because he listens carefully and delivers designs that work beautifully in real life, not just on screen.
